Almonds are probably the best nuts to chew on as a snack for several reasons. First of all, almonds are high in protein and rich in the good mono unsaturated fats so they are quite healthy. They are delicious and can be used in a variety of dishes. When they are dried or roasted with or without salt, they are relatively lower in calories than other nuts and they give the most nutritious yield of all the nuts.
When reaching for a healthy snack, try some almonds, generally a handful will do you good, and make sure to avoid the almonds coated with sugars and sweeteners.
